Relaxed Corporate Photography in Southampton with Fiona & Ian of Endida
When Fiona Whyte contacted me for some relaxed corporate photography in Southampton, I was excited to revisit Ocean Village, where her office is. This used to be a favorite spot for me in my late 20s and I hadn’t been there for many years, I wondered how much it’s changed.
I remembered the old shipping buildings and the long-since-gone shopping center! So I was equally surprised and impressed with the modern architecture that now bordered the marina.
Luckily Fiona had scouted out her favorite spots for the shoot, so after meeting her colleague Ian, who was also having his headshots updated, we went straight to the first location.
Relaxed Corporate Photography - The Brief
Fiona & Ian needed some relaxed corporate photography in Southampton for their Linkedin profiles and website that would encapsulate the energy and passion they have for their business. With a mix of natural headshots that have an authentic and approachable feel.

Relaxed Corporate Photography - The Shoot
The start of our relaxed corporate photography shoot in Southampton went well. We found some steps and with my camera in hand started to click away. Fiona and Ian are obviously very focused, confident professionals, but they are also very warm and friendly, and following my guide they relaxed into the shoot quickly. But not everything went to plan!
We headed off to The Harbour Hotel in Ocean Village, I’d never seen it before and it quite took my eye, which unfortunately caused me to stumble and fall to the ground, badly spraining my ankle. My first instinct is always to protect my camera, so I dropped to my knee, another casualty of the day, but my gear was fine! After taking a moment I was helped up by a kind gentleman, and being a big strong girl I carried on!
I was a little bit slower on my feet, but still managed to get some great shots for Fiona and Ian. We even ventured into the reception of the hotel to borrow their elegant curved staircase. It’s amazing what you can get away with if you just own it!
As a Headshots Photographer in Southampton, Ocean Village turned out to be a great venue. With so many backgrounds and time for a quick change, I was able to get so many fab shots for them to choose from.
Relaxed Corporate Photography - The Results
I was glad to get home and rest my ankle after the shoot, but also super keen to check out the photographs, so I got to editing straight away. I was so pleased with the results. Fiona and Ian now have a fab bank of images of relaxed corporate photography portraits, including individual headshots and, dynamic team photos.
