Brand Photographer in Bournemouth With Marie-Clare

As a brand photographer in Bournemouth, I get to meet some amazing women and discover their unique businesses. From my first chat with her on our discovery call I knew we’d get on and have an amazing shoot, even without a meeting I started to visualise the style of images she would need for her new website and social media. I like to put together a Pinterest mood board to refer back to when it’s time for the shoot to keep me focused on the overall feel. This also helps my client get things like props and outfits ready, which Marie-Clare was right on board with.

I’m always impressed with the care and empathy my clients give to their businesses and Marie-Clare was no exception. Her business is to train people in their workplace on mental health and how to be able to help and support others who may need some extra support in life. With a background working for Dorset Mind, she uses her skills combined with a warm and fun personality to empower her clients to cope with the stresses of work and life.

Bournemouth Brand Photographer - The Brief

The brief for Marie-Clare’s Bournemouth brand photography shoot was simple, she needed a selection of images to use for her new website being launched soon, and also for social media. The locations she selected started at Flamingo Cafe in Winton and some at her home in Southbourne. Both locations were perfect and gave me plenty of opportunities for getting her the right shots.

Bournemouth Brand Photographer - The Shoot

We met at the fabulous Flamingo Cafe in Winton to start Marie-Clare’s Bournemouth brand photography shoot. Our first meeting was me rushing to the loo! (I’d had a long drive!!) We then relaxed with a coffee and immediately we clicked, and having had a little look around I found us the perfect spot to start her Bournemouth brand photography shoot. The great thing about being in a cafe is you already have a prop with a coffee to keep your hands busy! Amazing how that can help you relax into having your photo taken.

Marie-Claire also brought along a notebook and laptop as we wanted to capture images of her working in a relaxed cafe style. The venue was superb and I was able to capture a really lovely variety of shots for the first part of Marie-Clare’s brand photography shoot.

For part two of this brand photography shoot, we headed across town to Marie-Clare’s beautiful home. As a Bournemouth brand photographer, it’s my job to capture the client’s personality. It wasn’t hard at all to bring this out in Marie-Clare as she has such a lovely warmth with people.

The truly amazing Alison mead me feel completely at ease and comfortable for my brand photo shoot! Thank you so much, Alison, lots of chatter and giggles throughout, perfect!

Bournemouth Brand Photographer - The Results

As I was editing the images from the shoot I kept stopping and smiling to myself. I just loved the shots I captured. I really believe that her ideal clients will really connect with her openness, joy, and caring nature, which just shine out of these images. My work as a Bournemouth brand photographer is done, images delivered, and another very happy client. Marie-Clare now has a bank of images to draw from for her social media and for her brand-new website.

This was such a lovely day, one that took me completely out of my comfort zone but Alison’s calm and relaxed demeanor instantly put me at ease. I can not recommend you enough and just want to thank you so very much for capturing something that I could only ever imagine - you are awesome Alison!!!!
